On the streets of Santa Fe they sell a food called “Elote,” it is made of one of your favorites vegetables. Here’s it grilled with crème and cheese and chili, and like at home it comes in ears and wrapped with husk. What is it and do you see them?
Did you know the Albuquerque baseball team is called the Isotopes, based on team one the Simpsons? Like Homer Simpson I hear you like a fried “dunkin” dessert just like what are called Sopapillas here, do you know what that fried dough is?
New Mexico is famous for these green and red peppers you see hanging everywhere. They have the same name as a dish that is made with tomatoes meat and beans, that you might have on a hot dog or stuffed potato, that rhyme with your uncle Billy.
The most popular chiles in NM have a lot of spiciness come out of them, they are from a town that sounds like birds come out of eggs there. Can you match the word that this batch of chiles is called that is an egg opening?
